Muzzy® MX-3 Fixed-Blade Broadheads are the latest edition of the short-profile MX series. Their ''bad to the bone'' reputation is a direct result of the hollow-ground Trocar tips which feature a 1-1/4'' cut for maximum damage and a clear blood trail. To increase strength, all three .025'' stainless steel blades interlock within the aluminum body.

I first was turned on to this broadhead simply for the price and the good reviews and the poor performance of my previous heads, but after shooting and hunting with it, I see why it has the good reviews. I harvested a doe with this head at about 30 yards with a bow shooting at about 300 fps, the doe was quartering away and was skeptical of the penetration i had got considering i did not see my arrow on point of impact, As i aproached the deer the arrow went clear through the right side of the deer, through the vitals and out the shoulder. One thing i did not like about the head was a very small entry hole, but a large exit hole made up for it. I would reccomend this head to anyone looking for a simple cheap head with good killing power.

Iv just started bow hunting and i picked up muzzy because they were pretty cheap and they work great. Haven't had any problems with them they fly great, stay pretty sharp, and just preform great. Muzzy all the way

I purchased the wrong replacement blades. The mx blades wouldn't fit. I should have gotten the regular blades instead.

I love the MX3's, but if your bow is not paper tuned perfect they wont be accurate much past 20 yards, and they are not forgiving at all if you have bad habits!! I have to admit you may have to put one head on 3 or 4 arrows to find the perfect match, but if your a die hard like me you do that anyway. Make sure you and your set up is spot on and you will love them. They are very durable, sharp, cut huge holes, and accurate when all else is good. I shoot 6-7 inch groups @ 80yrds so they WILL fly like field points! Almost forgot they hold an edge very well and resharpen fast and easy.
