Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by not one of there best The unit should come with cd to walk you through all the setups. There is way to much guess work to get thru the system. The user book is a waste of time, it doesn't tell you how to get from a to z. The book tell you to buy miro sd card, but not what size. You don't know until you buy the wrong size and put it into the slot. This isn't my first gps unit, been using them for about 20 years. Best guess, it 's going to take several months to get it right. By then it's outdated and I will have to buy a new one!!! September 5, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by too much clutter when I operate the Elite 7 HDI with factory defaults, my screen is full of clutter, on a crystal clear lake in 30 ft of water, it looks like a snow storm on the screen. I can turn down the sensitivity, but the videos I have seen all say it should be left on automatic. this unit is too complicated. it should work right out of the box with a viewable screen. you should not have to play around with all of these adjustments. the owners manual is pitiful, they should at least have a cd to give instructions on what all of these features are, and how to set it properly. Rated 5 out of 5 by Well Worth it! Bought the Elite 7 hdi first time I took it out I was more than happy with its performance. Screen is excellent and clear. Love the ability to have to customize your screen and the layout. Marking waypoints is fast and easy. Just a great overall product for the price! would recommend to anyone looking for a new depth finder. April 12, 2013

Shared transducer

Details:
This unit has NEMA 2000, will it share the transducer sonar information with another unit at the same time? I am looking for a unit to place at the helm with another unit on the bow. Shared transducer information is needed because dual transducers will cause interference.

The difference between the $799.99 and the $699.99 is the transducer included with the unit.

The unit for $799.99 includes the 50/200 + 455/800 HDI transducer. The 50/200 kHz frequency is better suited for saltwater anglers.

The unit for $699.99 includes the 83/200 + 455/800 HDI transducer. The 83/200 kHz frequency is better suited for freshwater anglers.
