Use with Standard (STD) rings
Use with Standard (STD) rings. Detachable scope mounts guarantee that you'll return to zero without fail. The forward part of the base accepts a dovetail style ring, locking it solidly into position, while the rear ring is secured by windage adjustment screws. 2-piece bases are fluted for a customized look, offer greater flexibility in mounting options, and fit both left- and right-hand action rifles. Reversible bases accommodate a variety of scopes and action lengths. Made in USA.
Leupold standard scope rings are sold separately and can be found through item search at 38-882-102

I've used these mounts with the Extra High Rings and they work incredibly well. After bore sighting my scope using these bases, I have very little adjustment to do when I actually shoot the rifle. These are very solid bases. Make sure you purchase the bases made for your rifle since not all bases will work.

I installed these bases with the Leupold standard rings on my Rem 700 .223. The windage screws are key! Only 1" of adjustment at 100 yrds after bore sighting! For $20...can't beat it!

Was a perfect fit for 10/22 Ruger. Well machined and hold Nikon scope very firm.

I bought a Leupold standard mount base for my Remington 7600 "it is an older one built in the 1950s". The problem is only 2 of the holes will match up either the front or the back but not at the same time. Understand you usually get 2 in the front and 1 in the back put lock tight on and your good to go. The holes are between an 1/8 -1/4 inch off. So this mount is useless to me for this weapon. Now I need to take my old weaver mount and go to the store and match the holes of a new base so I know I am getting the right one.
