HEVI-Shot HEVI-Metal Waterfowl Shotshells
Single Best Waterfowl Shell Ever!
I have been duck hunting for 35+ years. I finally spent the extra money on these last year and am kicking myself for not buying them sooner.
I shoot a lot of ring neck's....NO cripples with these loads. I love them
My advice: Spend the extra money, well worth it.

don't waste your time
I always make it a habit to pattern my shells to detirmine if it's worth my time to use them and we owe to the game animals in which we're hunting to reduce cripples and make clean kills.I couldn't get any kind of pattern with these at all so i cut one open and couldn't believe what they put in these things.I bought a box of bb's and the shot size inside was as small as 6's in some case and the hevi-shot was so deformed there was no way it could fly straight.Should rename scrap-metal.

Not the greatest
The pattern of these shells at 40 yards using a Beretta Urika and modified Trulock choke were not the greatest. I got better pattern with Winchester Supreme. I cut open one of those shells to see what is inside. It had a mix of pellets, one type seems to be steel which was all of the same size and uniform shape, however, the heavy metal pellets were all deformed, with bumps, and of all sizes and shapes. I went geese hunting with these shells, they kill instantly when they hit. I never got a jam or a misfire, but I wouldn't expect these defects from shells with that price. After looking at the content of the shell and the pattern they produced I would feel very reluctant to buy them again. No

I'm not sure about these shells. I bought 3 boxes of 3 1/2", B's for a duck hunt last year. When I opened the boxes, they had a sand like material inside the boxes, which I know isn't good for a semi shotgun. I also had a shell not go off on a nice drake shoveler.
So I was a little disappointed in that aspect. On a good note, the ducks I shot at, did seem to fold on a regular basis!
So I think the knockdown power is good, but I'm a little skeptic on the quality of the shell!
