Glock 23 GEN4
I've had a Glock 22 since I was about 17. Always loved Glocks for their styling and performance. Took mine along when hunting and to college when I graduated, but never concealed carried until I got my permit. After carrying for a few weeks, I discovered that the G22 was just too big to conceal. Even on a hip holster, sitting in the seat of my truck was murder. So I sold my G22 and bought a new G23 GEN4 and I am very pleased with its performance. I read about the apparent "problems" people were having with theirs but mine has none so far. The new spring is a major improvement on the recoil. After a few hundred rounds, I couldn't feel any aches in my wrist like I would with my 22. If you're debating whether to get the 23 or 22, I would say definitely get the 23. Basically the same gun but the 23 is just a little more compact with a full-sized feel. I also compared a G27 side by side with the G23 and it is a little smaller but the grip just isn't enough for my hands. It felt almost loose with my pinky hanging off the bottom. I remember at the store thinking, if I'm gonna have to use this, I'm probably going to be scared and have a death-grip on this gun. with the G27, I just felt that I couldn't get a tight enough grip for me (Just my opinion). The 23 has the perfect grip and is still very easy to conceal. I love it.

Bought this gun almost 2 years ago and have never been happier. It is lightweight, holds 13 rounds in the mag and you can carry it comfortably. The .40 has a lot of stopping power. Fun gun to shoot.
