G5 Outdoors Vault Broadhead Case
G5 Outdoors Vault Broadhead Case Review
The G5 Vault is very compact and fits nicely into a vest or jacket pocket. It is made of sturdy plastic and has quality foam lining. That said, it is pretty much designed for just 3 Blade (fixed) broadheads. It accommodates 5 broadheads.

Practical & Compact
I like this broadhead case. It fits almost anywhere, it's light weight and it protects the edges from damage. I didn't expect more, the size is right, well constructed and gets the job done. I could have purchased larger cases, but when I'm hunting and on the run I don't need something like a small tackel box to carry around with me. The G5 is a great value for what it is used for.

I am a big fan of G5, but this case isn't worth the cost. The cut outs in the foam don't actually fit their broad heads. I have the Montec CS and when I put them in the case the broad heads have to cut their own place in the foam. I am not sure if that dulls them, but I don't like it. Would prefer a case I know keeps them razor sharp. Not terrible, but it seems like a cheap plastic case could work just as well for half the cost.

Not bad, Could be Better
Need a case to hold my G5 Mechanical broadheads so it made sense to go with a case provided from the same company. I like the overall design, size and feel of the case. I couldn't imagine how it would hold fixed broadheads though without having to bury them and ruining the foam inserts on the first time. My mechanical broadheads make impressions right away but remain safe. For most it may not be a big deal but i am a bit disappointed that it only holds 5 broadheads. It should hold 6 as most quivers i use hold six and the broadheads I buy are sold in either packs of 2 or 3 so it would never equal the amount of spaces available since I buy 3 packs of 2 or 2 packs of 3. The other draw back is that there is no space to store any extra parts without just setting them in there "free floating". So the overall design would greatly improve if they would add one more space for a broadhead to total 6 and a small space for extra blades, o-rings, etc. The length would increase some but the minimum it would increase would be worth it.
