FoodSaver GameSaver Expandable Seal Roll - 2 Pack
i use these bags for somehting very different
We have used foodsaver bags for about 8 years now as apackaging solution for shipping laser printer components that have toner in them. Becasue the bags are tough and the machine does a good job of removing air,we are able to save quite a bit of money re-using used compoenet that still ahve a lot of life left in them. If the foodsaver didnt do such a good job at removing all the air and acheiving a tight fit arouind the sealed parts inside the bag,we would not be able to re-use these parts because the toner would escape and contaminate these parts. We are askign qiute a bit form the foodsaver bags and the machine itself and we have not been disappointed

Just what I needed
For many years, I wished I could put my chicken or turkey in a FoodSaver bag, but they were too small. I had to slice up all the meat and remove the wings, legs, etc. to get it into the smaller bags. When I saw these bags, I jumped at buying them. They are perfect for sealing large items! Their only flaw is that you have to leave several inches extra to account for the height of the food and still be able to seal. It seems wasteful, but if you cut it too short, it won't fold in correctly to allow the bag to seal. If you're going to be opening and closing it several times, you need to leave a long "tail" or you'll have to replace the bag each time.
I will definitely buy these rolls again.

best idea since freeze and steam!
We buy bread and baked goods in bulk at the thrift store. most bread fits ok into bags made from the 11" roll but boxed cakes and donuts were a problem. The pleated roll IS the solution! I always prefreeze my baked goods before sealing so I don't accidentally crush them, vacuum just til it starts to get snug then switch to seal. Be sure to seal two or three times like the directions say, the pleats are pretty thick and need the extra oomph. Also great for frozen casseroles, whole chickens or other large/odd shaped foods. a little pricey but they do work if you follow directions.
