Rated 4 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hooks I've used these hooks in 2/0 size for the last two years for catfishing in NC and they work great. They're very sharp and keep a point very well. December 28, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Some are inline. Some are Offset I had never used circle hooks before and heard great things about them so I picked up a pack of 1/0 of these to use them for my slip sinker rigs for Walleye. The closest lake near me is all catch and release. Caught a couple in the lip which was good but then I gut hooked a couple. Gut hooking a fish with a J hook is awful to get out but gut hooking with a circle hook is even worse. After hearing such great reviews about circle hooks I was confused and looked at all the hooks in the package. Half of them are in line with the shank but the other half are offset slightly. One even as bad as 10 degrees offset from the shank making it a gut hooker for sure. I tried using pliers to bend the hook tip back inline but to no avail. Looks like the manufacturing process is not up to par on these. No point buying 10 hooks in a package only to throw 5 of them away. I’m going to try Gamakatsu circle hooks next time as I really like their Octopus hooks. Hopefully their in line circle hooks will all truly be “inline”. July 8, 2013
