Rated 4 out of 5 by not meeting expectations for a 500 dollar rod its nice and lite maybe strong but way too flexible. not a strong hook set and not a lot of back bone. i lost some fish in 4 ft of water couse of hook set. too flexible. other then that its a good rod, i had bigger expections taking in consideration that the steez its daiwas top of the line rods and it cost 500 dollars. i have the 7ft mid lt 1/16 to 3/8. not that bad just dont have a good hook set power not competitiv with gloomis rods and it cost considerably more. would not recomend because of the price. i was drop shotting maybe it works better for other technics but the hook set makes the difference. cant land the fish if can not be hooked.my only desepointment.
