Rated 2 out of 5 by Trailer lights Lights are great for loading and trailering, but when installing one light worked the other didn't. When Checking with a meter found out the brand new unit Did not work. Should be a way to let mfr know directly For direct replacement. May 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by exactly what I wanted These lights are an excellent choice for anyone wanting to add them to their 2 inch pvc posts. My posts were originally 6 ft tall. I cut them to 5 ft tall because the supplied wiring is 8ft long. That way I could neatly run the wire to the tail-lights under the guidepost bracket (secured with 2 tie straps) and then through the trailer frame (fished it through with a coat hanger). If you wanted to add wire for longer poles you could but I chose to shorten the post. I drilled and installed the post locking bolt. I added a small washer (not supplied) to the outside of the pvc pipe for added protection in case the bolt hole increases in size due to vibration. I chose to install the cap screw on the light also. The lights worked perfectly. At night they are just the right brightness. I highly recommend these lights. September 1, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to fit These were a breeze to fit to my existing posts, which were the standard bulb type previously. Even though they are LED - you do not even need to concern yourself with the wire polarity as they work either way. Had the old ones off and new ones on in 10 minutes. At night these are nice and bright without being blindigly bright, which is sometimes a problem with LED's. My trailer is now 100% LED. Highly reccomended. June 21, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by First Purchase My neighbor had the boat guides on his boat and said it made it so much easier for one person to unload and load a boat. So I asked him where he bought them and he said Bass Pro. I got on line look them up and bought them. Came fast and easy to install. He also told me a friend of his bought the guide post lights I checked them out and desided to buy them also. Glad I did they look sharp and were easy to wire right to the trailer lights. A:
This item is just a post Guide Lamp. These tough long lasting, waterproof, shockproof LED post guide lamps make it easy to see your trailer's position when backing down the ramp and dramatically increase your trailers visibility over the road at night.

NOTE: Post Guide Lights do not replace mandated DOT approved trailer lights.

There are 2 in a package. I do not know the pipe size, they fit perfectly over my standard Bass Pro light posts, once I removed the old lights.
