BugBand™ Wrist Bands are an ideal way to dispense the all-natural Geraniol insect repellent vapors for active outdoor lifestyles such as gardening, hiking, lawn work, fishing, hunting, or many other activities. Geraniol has been extensively tested by the University of Florida and found to be the best insect repellent available today. Provides hours of protection from blood feeding insects and is environmentally and child safe. Does not contain Deet or any other controversial ingredients. Many repellents are easily diluted or rinsed off with swimming or perspiration, but not this wristband-it just keeps working. The vapors from the wristband form a protective shield 15' around the immediate area keeping blood sucking insects at a safe distance. Features a patented break-away strap that snaps if the band is entangled. Packaged in an innovative reusable plastic "pot" which can be used to store the wristband between uses. Active life of up to 120 hours can be preserved if the band is sealed between uses. The band can also be worn on belt loops, hatbands, fastened in tents, attached to baby carriages or applied to other areas. Recyclable so simply dispose of it and the pot with your plastic recyclable containers. Made in USA.

BugBand™ All Natural Insect Repellent Wristband
Insect repellant writstband is great
My trade is gardening. The day my boss gave my partner and me wristband, I couldn't believe that it would work. To my disbelief, it worked fabulously. My partner agreed.
We were on our way to a job in a gated community. As we approached the gate we saw that the gate worker was swarmed with deer flies, swirling in a cloud around her legs. I felt so sorry for her, I gave her my wristband.
The next time I saw the gate keeper, she thanked me profusely. She told me it got rid of the deer flies and their painful bites.
Since then, I've recommended them to everyone, including bait shop owners.
It's surprising how many people won't believe that they work. They don't know what they are missing.

It Really Works
I used these bands last year in Costa Rica and they worked just fine. Easier than bug lotions or sprays. Smell is a little strong at first, but not overbearing and no member of the trip complained. Lasts longer than I had anticipated.

do not buy
This Bugband was the worst product ever. It did not repelled any thing. I used it camping at Black Lake in NY were it did not repelle any bug. I still got bitten by a lot of bugs while I was wereing the band all day. Save youre money and do not buy the band.

Works Great, usually.
I've been using these bands for over ten years and it seems they either work really well, or not at all. I seal them up between use and have been using this current set of 4 bands for 8 years, four of which they set in their case and were not used during our exile to another state to make retirement, but upon our return, they worked as well last year as they did the day I sealed them up. This turkey season they worked for the first half of the season but have started to fail now. Due to flooding in the area, mosquitoes are at a density unlike I have ever seen before. So I don't know if they have been overwhelmed or have finally worn out, but I will be ordering more if the local BP does not have them on the shelf. However, I don't think they have the range claimed. Even when new, a single band on the wrist is not enough and I have to put two on the front of the turkey vest and hang two more off the back of my hat. That seems to keep the little buggers away most of the time.
