Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Trolling for the price Works great to my Jon boat. A lot of power. Great troling motor September 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great on a canoe I bought this motor for my canoe that I take on the Elk River and the Chesapeake. . It works great and is the best 99 dollar deal around. The motor helps to keep the canoe going at a pleasant pace when it starts to get windy, I should have bought this motor long ago. June 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by little yet mighty I used this trolling motor on my new sea eagle SE9 motor mount boat. This motor zipped up around at a nice slow pace around a 194 acre lake. It has a nice digital gauge on it that tells you how much charge your battery has left and that is very handy. To be honest it just worked and was cheap. It did just what I needed it to do. I have heard that the minn kota motors can be turned so that you can easily mount them on the bow and the handle will be "pointing" in the right direction. Was wondering if this was something easily done with this motor.

Staff Answer
A:
You should not have to purchase any other type of mount to put on a pond prowler.

Assembly: Attach the motor to the stern of the boat. Make sure you tighten both mounting bolts securely. (Fig. A)
To adjust the angle of the motor following attachment, hold the motor head with one hand and depress the positioning pin with your other hand. Press and hold the pin until the desired angle has been reached. Release the pin and verify that the mechanism engages securely. (Fig. B)
