Stupid question but does this stand work for archers? I've seen guys talk about some tree stands are good for gun hunters but not achers. Would like to buy this as my 1st climber but only if it's a good one for archery.

Absolutely!! Almost every climber works for archery, some work better...i.e. summit dagger, openshot, but this one is almost as good. You just want to stay away from stands with a shooting rest that sits above the bar, other than that you will love all the ease of a climber, but PLEASE remember to wear a harness!!

I was putting my stand together and noticed there were 2 screw-in adaptors on the front of the seat section of the stand.

Not sure exactly what you're asking, but, I've tried 12 in diameter trees reducing only a couple of inches at 25 feet to trees 18 inches in diameter with little to no reduction at 25 feet. The larger you can get it on at the ground with little reduction at height you hunt, the better. generally I stick to the latter with this stand.
