swich blade??

i was wondering if this is one of those knives that open sideways without you having to touch the blade to open it??

No basically you hold down the switch with your thumb and spin the blade out by running you fingertip over the top. comes out so fast that people ask me if it's a switchblade

This is not a switchblade where it opens with the press of a button. To open this knife you have to roll the base of the blade.

I was curious if you could field dress a deer with this Redpoint knife.

I like the grip and loop, but the blade is only 2 3/4. Sharp is always good!

Not a good idea. A larger lockback like the Buck 110 or Gerber Magnum LST or a fixed blade hunting knife would handle the demands of dressing better and be much safer to handle.
