Hey Nick, I bought one for a friend, and its plenty big enough for 2 , but 500lbs. is what I was going by.Then when I got it the paperwork said it was only rated for 350 lbs., so take your pick. It seems like it would be sturdy enough, the cotton is really thick, and braided closely together. Good Luck

It says 500 lbs. Getting comfortable with 2 individuals on a hammock is not easy, even when weight limits aren't being considered. You are completely squished into the middle and if you try to move but go the wrong way you end up flipping it over.
You may find it nice sitting sideways in it, like a swing. The weight limit isn't as much of a factor because your legs are hanging off.
