A:
the screws on the jig head is for you to screw the worm on, so the worm won't slide down the hook when casting or flipping. it also keeps the worm straight on the hook when rigged texas style. it is very important to start screwing the worm straight and keeping it straight all the way up to the end of the screw. that will help to keep it straight and give it a more life like appearance.

A:
The spiral screw lock keep plastics secured in place, preventing them from sliding down the hook. To rig a worm, you would simply place the nose on the spiral, screw the worm until it’s secured on the spiral and then insert the hook point into the worm’s body.
