It dives about a foot and floats back up to the surface in about five seconds of a halted retreive. If the creek is shallow, this little guy isn't likely to hit bottom.

A:
If the creek has a rocky bottom these get hung quickly and badly. They're easier to fish in areas of open water where they're not going to encounter structure. The hooks are very lightweight and will bend or break if you pull too hard against a snag. But they do catch fish.

Realativly well depending on what is
living in your creek. This crank
produces well for sunfish and both
small and largemouth bass. Not to
mention rock bass and perch love
these too. The only problem with
these is they do not dive very deep so
this probably will not catch fish in deep
creeks.

horribly these are some trash lures because the hooks become entangled each cast. If you wanna put up with that you can. They will catch fish. try the xts speed lure minnow in 1 5//8 inch that is the best creek bait.

I've purchased several models of this crankbait from basspro and deadfishcompany. I've received some with #12 trebbles and some with #14 trebbles. some had 5mm rings and some had 3mm rings. takes a bit of mix and match to tweak them not to tangle.

I would say 5ft at the most, depends how fast you crank it. It usually stays within a few feet of the top when I use it.
