No, it is not. Gamakatsu's super braid hooks are the way to go if you are using heavy test.

To the best of my knowledge all EWG hooks for rigging soft plastic baits..etc..
are all offset.

I use the Gamakatsu round bend offset shank hook in a 4/0 or 5/0 and add a XPS Tungsten weight in the appropriate size. If you have trouble with the worm sliding up the line after a hit,add a Parasite worm clip.

I use a size 5/0 or 6/0 depending on the thidkness of the worm.

IMO you should use this hook in the 6/0 or 7/0 size for that size worm. I use the 6/0 for my Zoom Old Monster worms.

I would use a 4/0 or 5/0 hook for a 10.5 inch worm. It should give you the best results for hookups.
