it does not look like it has a negative terminal on it. this is going to be used inside a cabin of my boat if you can suggest a proper ground terminal for that use thanks.

A: 
There is no Negative terminal. The metal hull is the ground, or you'll have to run a black groundwire as needed if you have fiberglass or wood boat.
