This is almost impossible to answer because the X size is referring to a specific diameter. Here is a chart of X sizes:

0x = .011"
1x = .010"
2x =.009"
3x = .008"
4x= .007"
5x= .006"
6x= .005"
7x= .004"
8x= .003"

The X size is referring to the average diameter of the line, not the lb test. Two different lines which average the same diameter can be significantly different in lb test.

For example I've seen 0x diameter (.011") range in lb test from as little as 8lb test to as much as 15lb test.

If you are purchasing a premium brand such as Orvis, Rio, Seguar, etc. you will find there are subtle differences in the lb test in each size. Generally speaking these materials will have a higher lb test per diameter than conventional fishing lines.
