Is this a "Panfish" trap, cause I've never heard of a "Pinfish" trap. I'm wanting to order a Panfish trap but don't want to order the incorrect product.

"pinfish" is a saltwater fish, but it will catch small panfish
I had to use something--plastic basket in order to attract the pin fish

the best way i've found is to take a 12oz - 16oz styro foam cup and fill it with pieces of bait ie shrimp, cut bait etc.. and put a piece of twine in the middle of the cup about 8-10" long then fill the cup with water and freeze over night . after frozen peel off the styro foam and tie the frozen bait chunk to the bottom inside of the trap and it will slowly melt and disperse the bait..hope this helps
a pinfish trap is similar to a minnow trap...not in cylinder form, but box shape with a funnel opening. . .a pin fish is like his fresh water cousin, the sun perch/blue gill. . .looking to catch 3 to 5 inch bait fish to use live under cork or weight--primary target is redfish, sea trout and black tip shark...

This trap is used for trapping live bait fish such as pinfish, spot, mutton minnows, squirrel fish, sea bass, porgies, bluegill, perch and more.
