A:
See the manufacturer instructions through the following URL link: http://www.prototechind.com/bow_pre....

Note: If the bow is to be completely disassembled the jackscrew will need to be started approximately 1/2" to 1" from its fully extended position.

I just purchased a Fred Bear "Game Over" Bow. I don't use a press enough to justify purchasing the full size. Do you know if this item would work on the "Game OVer"?

It will work fine. I use the split limb adapters on my Bear The Truth and have no problem with them.

yes, because of their parallel limb design, the split limb adapters do not work to well. I just the original rods and right where it goes through the limbs i use zip ties to tie the cable to the cam and the the wheel. this assures that the two rods will not slide down the limbs.

it is possible to shorten the cable and then with the split limb adapters, it will work on a crossbow. the only thing is that if you shorten the cable, you must make sure the the end that was shortened is resecured. if it is not, the cable might not hold and no warranty will cover any injury that occurs. if you are not willing to take the chance, go to a bow shop and let them work on it.

Unfortunately, it is too wide for your needs. It will not work on a crossbow.
