A:
Use an owner, big hammer, or yamamoto swim bait jig. The yamamoto swimbaits are solid and won't collapse well when using a swimbait hook. I like the big hammer ones with the eyes. 1/2 oz to 1oz size.

A:
"Usually" the colors that are natural in appearance are best in clear water and those that are dark and give a good profile or bright and are visible are best in stained water.

For stained go with one of the darker colors and for clear water go with what best matches your baitfish.

A:
In clearer water 05 or 06 would be a natural choice to imitate bluegill. In stained water 08 or 18 provides a more defined profile and would be a good choice. If you have real clear water and some sun, 31 wouldn't be a bad color to try in addition to 05 and/or 06. Good luck.
