It has to do with how the lead core and copper jacketing are tied together. Which one you choose depends on the expansion you want. Bonded perform more like a all copper bullet where you retain near 100% weight and get expansion. Non bonded perform more like a lead bullet or a shotgun slug...less pass throughs and more kinetic energy in that it feels like a sledge hammer hitting a deer in the side instead of slightly expanding and passing through. The only thing "superglide" means is the sabot that comes with the bullet is a teflon sabot that goes down the barrell easier and they do I have shot them before.
