No this line does not glow. I do alot of night crappie fishing and I use berkly big game solar green. I tie leaders onto it close to the baits. I also use this for night catfishing.It really is super visible with my LED uv lights . Good Luck!!!Details:
I have heard about using this line for muskie....in the 65 lb test. If i were to use this and say a swimbait or live bait would i use a leader.....if so mono or floro...how long and how long of a steel leader. Sorry its alot but i am inexpirenced in the terminal tackel used with muskieAnswers

Why bother using a mono or floro leader if you need a wire leader anyway? I would tie the steel leader to the braid.A:
great for toothy critters. use a 18" steel leader. braid line is tuff but it will not resist musky teethAnswers

I can't speak for this line because I have not tried it (but plan on trying it soon). However, the Stren Sonic Braid in the clear blue/fluorescent does glow at night under a blacklight. You can see it very well. I have seen it first-hand

It doesn't glow nor does any of the other colored braids that I've tried. Stren has a new baid ( clear / blue / flouresent ) that claims to glow with uv lights.I can't say weather or not it works good or not. I don't intend to try it either because for daytime bassfishing this line can't be beat . As for all my night time fishing needs I use Berkly Big Game in Solar Green. It really is super visible uder uv blacklights. Just remember to use a leader because the fish can see it too. Good Luck !!!Answers

IMO it will cast farther than any other brand. Other braids are not consistantly round which can affect casting distance, but I'm sure you will be more than satisfied with this braidA:
Very Very far I can cast using the 20lb braid across the lake about 30 yards no joke using a small lure. This is much better than spiderwire by farA:

I switched to baitcaster reels because the more I fished my spinning reels with mono, the more line twist I would get resulting in the eventual birdsnest. I would like to go back to the spinning reel for lightweight lures. Will braid solve my line twist problem?Answers

I gave up fishing with spinning reels due to line twist with mono. Then a friend recommended Power Pro. This helped a lot with line twist but still got occasional breakage and wind knots. Fished a few more brands but still not impressed until I tried Suffix braid. Fish the 10 lb test for lightweight lures.

Works very well for me on my spinning outfits. I've fished Suffix in 10, 20 30 & 40# tests and zero twist or memory.

Yes there will end up being twist in your line no matter what reel you use but it does not effect braid.A:
I just recently switched over to braid line. A guide I went out fishing with had it and he showed me the difference between mono and braid. I was using the braid to catch catfish. 20# test line and no stretch with no memory whatsoever. I will never go back to a mono line on my reels ever again. I have it on my baitcast and spinning reels and it works miraculously well.

YES IT WOULD! I have been fishing with braid for about 3 years and i been loving every bit of it. I never got a birdsnest with this line and it never got twisted up.A:
I have 1 baitcaster and 1 spinning reel both have a braided line. I always use a snap swivel or leader which helps with line twist. I personally love braid and will never go back to a mono again. I think that braided lines can take more twist than mono can. It also depends on the type of braid, I just bought sufix performance braid and got 3 knots in my first day on my Canada fishing trip. I hate that line, on the other hand I love Spiderwire original but it is becoming harder and harder to find. I have only broke Spiderwire once, and it was a bad knot that was my fault.1 of 1
