According to the Whitetail Institutes website it says for 3.5 Pounds will cover approximately 1/2 acre. (Plants .5 acre).

This product should be planted over a 1/4 acre. All of the smaller 4 lb. bags of Whitetail Institute bags are meant to be planted over a 1/4 acre area, unless otherwise noted. If you needed to know the square footage in 1/4 acre, its 10,890 sq.ft. You can access their website and it'll also tell you more details about their products.
