I think so. More noise and they stay straight when you reel them in. I have fished side by side with someone using a single blade and both caught about the same number of fish, the double buzzer seemed to catch some larger fish though.

sometimes i you feel you need that extra noise and wake on the waters surface
but remember as a fisherman you just want every bait but as they say for food your eyes are bigger that ur stomach and ur gonna get hungry again but you dont want leftovers
here what i am saying you dont need all the fancy stuff if the fish are biting they are and dont let anyone tell you different

I prefer double blades because they displace more water which attracts predator fish. You can reel them slower which causes a great "burble" affect. There's a time to burn these things but I find a slower retrieve works better. They get up and plane quicker as well.
