Trigger Lock - Lock the light on for ease of use. Lock the trigger in the off position to prevent accidental discharge. In addition, there is a small rubber tab in the trigger that has to be removed before operating.

I want to know if this spotlite can operate the light from any 12-volt power source using the 12-V ???

Both models are cordless. The difference between the two is QR2001 has 12-volt, 2.8 amp battery/100-watt quartz halogen bulb, while this model (QR1007) has 6-volt, 4 amp battery/55-watt quartz halogen bulb.
