I have aa Old Towne 17' Guide canoe.I would like to use it to fish alone.Is it preferable to get a snap on seat and use my side mount bracket and a trolling motor,would I have more control and stability from that location?

I'm not sure about the stability thing. It would drive in circles also. Those are my concerns. Give it a little test run.Answers

Measure it. Usually with this particular model it should fit just about any canoe, but to be safe run into your local bass pro or call them.1 of 1
