48" rifle does NOT FIT

Details:

Description says will fit 48" scoped rifle, Its not even close. At most it'll hold maybe A 45" and that will be tight.
I'm returning it. Will I be able to fit my 48" rifle with scope into the Shotgun version.
Says its 53", is it wide enough for scope?
