Details: 
Just bought the red dot last night at Bass Pro Concord but the elevation and windage plates do not have anything stamped on what the click adjustments are equal to at 100 yards. If anyone can tell me what they have stamped on theirs it would really help.

A: 
Elevation or windage adjustments are made by removing the cover caps from the adjustment knobs. Using a screwdriver or coin, make adjustments in the appropriate “UP” and/or “L” direction indicated by the arrows. Each “click” or stop in the adjustment will change the bullet impact by 1 Minute Of Angle (MOA) which translate to ½ inch at 50 yards, 1 inch at 100 yards, and 2 inches at 200 yards. Reinstall the cover caps over the adjustment to protect your zero and to exclude dirt from the mechanism.

I have read in some forums that the 1858 new army has been drilled and tapped for mounts. I am using the krist convertion also and not worried about black powder residue. Any one have same intrest?

Yes, I have 3 of these scopes. One on my mossberg 835, one on my benelli nova, and one on my benelli SBE I. They work great. I have had the oldest one about 8 years and never had to change the point of sight.

I haven't had any problems with the recoil on a mossberg 835 shooting both rifled 300grain slugs and 3 inch 00buck.
If it has held up to a hundred or so rounds and 2 teenagers messing with it I feel pretty good it'll hold up to anything.
