Yes, the Shimano Tallus Blue Water Rod holds up greatly to everything, I found the best match with the 60XXHSBA would be the Shimano Torsa (TS-16). The rod and reel are perfect to use with 50lb or 65lb braid and I found that they hold up great to Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowtail, and Yellow Fin Tuna. I highly recommend it!
