The Costa Fathom 400 Sunglasses deliver unbeatable function, fashion, and value, all in one package! Fathom Sunglasses feature Costa's innovative Hydrolite™ construction with cold-molded frames for the perfect fit; three vents on each side for cool comfort; co-injected temples. In addition to the perfectly fitting, stylish frames, the Fathom 400 Sunglasses are available in two different lens types, LightWAVE glass or CR-39® scratch resistant plastic. Regardless of lens type, every pair of Costa's Fathom 400 Sunglasses is 100% polarized, 100% UV protected and offers heightened clarity, contrast and definition.

LightWAVE glass lenses are 20% thinner and 22% lighter than typical glass lenses but they still exceed federal standards for impact-resistance.

CR-39 scratch-resistant lenses are fully functional, lightweight alternative to glass. This lens type offers all the same advantages of the LightWAVE glass but in a more affordable material.

It really depends on how they fit on your face. The vents on the sides are made to help, but all in all it is determined by the fit.

The brine and the stringer are comparable to the fathoms that I would look into if I were you.
