Equipped with Auto-Stop, which automatically shuts off the motor before the weight reaches the boom tip. Capable of speeds up to 200' per minute. Includes single black aluminum rod holder, line release, and 200' of 195-lb. test stainless steel cable.

What is the best downrigger for me?

Details:

I want to buy a downrigger for my husband to use in Lake Fontana. This is clear water, 100-500 ft deep with suspended fish at about 50-50 ft. He wants an elctric downrigger but I am not sure which is best. This is a surprise---or I would ask him!
