a buzzbait has a "propellor". A spinner bait has a loose blade that wobbles.A:
Different blade configuration and totally different type of blades. Buzz baits are for top water and spinners are for under water.

A buzzbait is designed to run on top of the water with a fixed 2 or 3 blade "propeller" a spinner bait can be fished at pretty much any depth and has a single blade attached to a swivel that will allow it to spin 360 degrees so it will create a metallic flash under the water imitating the silver scales of a fleeing baitfish. A buzzbait relies more on sound thus the name "Buzz" bait.A:
Buzz baits are meant to be worked on the top only. Spinners can be worked on both top middle and bottom. they both have different blades too.1 of 1
