This is a longbow stringer. You may want to go to a Bass Pro location in person. In store, they carry a recurve stringer or two that will be safer for you and your bow. I can't find one the website, but I know they have them in the stores.Details:

This is the bow stringer. This will save you time and a fight with your bow trying to get the bow and string properly set for shooting. Don't send it back or give it away you'll be glad you held on to it.
