A:
Absolutely. I use them in 30' of water. I fish submereged bridges. I set the float to where it floats on its side when laying on top of the bridge. Then I add about 4' to 6' by pulling the Sinker Stop further up the line adding extra depth. I then reel it in and drop it off the deep side of the bridge. Usually having great results.

A:
THE METAL PRONGS TOWARD THE BASE OF THE BOBBER HAVE CURRENT FLOWING TO THEM DUE TO INTERNAL BATTERIES- THE WATER ACTS AS A JUMPER BETWEEN THE METAL PRONGS THUS COMPLETING THE CIRCUIT WHICH CONTAINS THE SMALL LIGHT AND IN TURN LIGHTS UP WHEN WET AND GOES OFF WHEN DRY
