A:
The smaller spray cannisters sold on this site not only contain pepper spray but military spec tear gas and the dye that won't wash off to help idenify attackers. The larger cannister sold as pepper spray does not contain the tear gas BUT will stop (according to their sales pitch) multiple attackers from up to 25 feet. The smaller cannisters are mostly only good for as much as 8-9 feet.

A:
pepper spray that they sell for general self protection usually only shoots about 10 feet, and some also have a dye to help police locate a would be attacker. Bear spray shoots closer to around 35 feet.

A:
No. It is against TSA rules. It does not have anything to do with the individual airlines. It is considered HAZMAT.
I work for an airline and if TSA finds it in a passengers bag they take it out.

Due to the rapidly changing rules for airline restrictions these days and the fact that different airlines have different restrictions, you will need to call the airline you are going to use. They will have someone who can help you determine what they allow and what they restrict.

Yes you can, for personal use. But you cannot sell it, and must take it back out with you if unused. Have a good trip!
The only real difference between your bear spray and ours is measurements and potency.
