A: 
I use 1/32 and 1/16 exclusively. The 1/32 will do great in very shallow water and fishing the top of the water column. The 1/16 is the heaviest I use. I mainly cast jigs with an ultra-light rod and a small Shimano spinning reel. A 1/8 would be good for deeper fishing and vertical jigging. Hope this helps.

Here in Ky where we fish the creeks off the Ohio river and small reservoirs I do really well with the 1-1/2" jigs on a 1/32 or 1/16 jighead, also like the 2" tubes withe the same jigheads, use with a small float and fill the boat. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!
