A:
Yes, those both work, but for wacky fishing I would recommend a senko-style bait. For texas rigging, perhaps some kind of curly tail worm.

Absolutely, although you may not get the largest of stripers you will get plenty of action on them!

I would give it a try. You can get other plastics that stripers would like such as a shad design to use

I have only fished for stripers in Lakes Mead and Mojave. In those waters, the Stripers are mid-column feeders so drop-shotting is not nearly effective. YMMV

well u can do many things. swim it over tree tops or grass with a shot tag end or do the usual let the weight stay at the bottom and shake your rod tip 3-4 inches. you can also drag and pop the system over a smoother bottom or if you have a snag proof weight..... over anything. hope this helped

A:
Generally, the sinker/weight is attached to the end of the line, and the hook is attached to the line maybe... 16-24 inches above the sinker, depending on the bottom conditions. If weeds are taller, the hook should be higher on the line. Cast the rig out and let it hit bottom. Retrieve with short-stroke jigging motion.
