No the ARM would need tools to remove. I just leave the whole thing.

You can, but you would have to screw the arm back in each time you climb up the tree. To me its not much more difficult to throw the strap around and sinch it down.

Yes absolutely. The arm part can be removed from the base by means of pushing a small button.

It can be done but I don't recommend it with this arm. The arm is attached to the base with a thumb screw instead of a pin. So when taking it off or putting it back together requires total concentration. Would hate to think of dropping the screw because the chance of finding it would be slim.

it comes with an attachment that comes with the arm that screws into the bottom of the camera. so as long as your camera has a screw in the bottom of it will work.

as long as the camera has a screw mount on the bottom for a tripod, it will work for this too.

Iuse mine with a sony handy cam. I think this product was made for small cams. ANYTHING BIGGER WOULD NEED A STOUT $150 or more tree arm.

yes this can be used for smaller cameras, you have to use the camera mount that comes with it though.

the arm that attaches to the tree is probably a foot and the extension is maybe 6-8 inches. needs one more extension in my opinion.

it extenz out to a little over 2 ft. ithe screw didnt fit my camera at first, i replaced the screw with one that did fit and it works good now.

the arm that attaches to the mount is 10 1/2", the arm that attaches to that arm is 9 inches, and the end is 9 inches. you can fold them up for smaller storage but they can extend from the tree a good distance.
