According to the manufacturer web site, the Bracket for Mounting to Trolling Motor will not fit your Lowrance Mark 5x-DSI. They recommend model 000-10261-00, which is our item number 38-534-475-00. Thanks

According to the instructions this is designed for use w/Lowrance transponders. Try using tie wraps if your transponder permits their use.

Mine was a "skimmer" type transducer, came with the Eagle Cuda 300, which is set up for transom mounting of the tranducer, and this kit mounted the transducer very securely to the bottom of the trolling motor. Comes with a clamp large enough to fit larger T/M's too.

It is a very hard polymer. I tried to bend it when I tightened the bolt clamp and it wouldn't budge. Very good quality.
