My son wore his boots hunting with just rain falling in them, and his feet were cold and wet. Which turned the trip in to being cold and not a great experience. Can I use snow seal or any other product for these 100% waterproof boots without damage to the boot?

I'm not sure about water proofing but the boots caked up badly with snow - trying silicone spray on bottom and going to test if they still cake up w/snow.

You can try a ReviveX® Spray-On Water Repellent Item Number: 38-870-336-03 or make sure the snow seal will not ruin the boot material. Has to be able to go onto Rugged 1000 denier upper trimmed with leather.

All RedHead footwear runs true to size, except for rubber boots, which run a 1/4 size big.
One other thing to think about. You may want to go larger simply to allow room for layering or thick socks for hunting in really cold weather, if that's part of the plan.

I bought my 15 year old a pair when he was thirteen. My youngest, (Now Thirteen) wore them last season. Goodwill will gt them next. Neither ever complained about the boots.

Look at ladies hunting boots. A ladies size 8 is the same as a youth 6.5. Ladies size 8.5 is a youth 7.
