A:
two ways. tie a snell not directly to the lure. or, use a light eagle claw leader. make sure the leader is short or it will get tangled up with the sureset hook.

A:
I use power pro with a 3' 80lb mono leader and a loop knot tied to the nose ring of the lure. I put it out about 150' behind the boat and it will bump the bottom from time to time in 30' of water at 5mph
