Personally I think color is vastly over-rated. I fish many different colors, including watermelon choices, in gin clear water and the bass eat all of them. When was the last time you saw a natural food creature in a lake that was bubble gum pink, or neon blue, or lime green? -- yet the bass hit all these colors on drop shots, senkos, pre-rigs, etc. Just buy some worms and go fishing.
