Well I see your question is a year and a half old, but my 11 year old wears the extra large and I don't think he'll be in them for more than a season or two.

The customer Rep will give you all of the inseam/outseam measurements fot the youth sizes. you can measure the length of a pair of jeans and order accordingly, allowing a bit for future growth.
