Yes, this is a great way to catch large smallie's during summer months. I place three hooks spaced approximately twelve to fifteen inches apart beginning two feet above the weight (1/2 oz) tied to the end of my line. I use a watermelon/black flake on the hook nearest the weight, a chartreuse/pearl on the second hook and a pearl white on the top hook. If the bass is in the area, hold on! I got larger barrel swivels through your shop and I was just wondering if it matters what size you use. Sorry I don't know the size.Answers

If you are using the barrel swivel to keep the twist out of your line while using a spin cast outfit, it doesn't really matter what size as long as the swivel is attached well ahead of your rigged fluke, always keep the swivel 15 to 18 inches from the hook and fluke. Try this and I think you will be pleased. Remember, sometimes the bass will strike the swivel if it's to big.A:

Is there any difference in the way this bait moves, jerks and falls trough the water compared to the Zoom Fluke? Both are 4". I tried the bass pro shops fluke, it's ok but it doesn't moves like the regular zoom fluke. the shape of the super fluke jr is very simmilar to the bps brand (the belly part) and different to the regular zoom fluke. If I were to choose between the fluke and the super fluke jr. which would you recomend?Answers

In my openion there is a definate difference in the action of the original 4" fluke and the Super Fluke Jr. 4". I fish both rivers and lakes and have found that the SFJ looks and acts more natural when twitched and even sinks much faster than the original "slim" fluke. The belly is more natural and I believe it appears that way to the bass. I personally get more strikes on the SFJ than the original. Sometimes I change to an original 4" fluke when they stop hitting a SFJ just to give them something new to look at, it works.

Personally I see no need to use a EWG hook when using a SFJ. I use the 2/0 Gamakatsu O'Shaughnessy, Offset Shank hook and I loose very few fish. Give them time to get the fluke in their mouth and "cross their eyes". Most of my misses are due to premature hook sets or getting excited when I see the fish strike and I try and set the hook to soon.A:
i personally use the 2/0 gamakatsu ewg hook they work very well I also use the 1/0 both work fine

Hey in this case their are three choices you could make. You could use either a 2/0, 3/0, or a 4/0. never use a 1/0 because it is to small and never use a 6/0 because its to large.A:
i use size 4 worm hooks. They catch the small bass and large bass.A:
A 2/0 or 3/0 EWG hook works perfect I per-fur 3/0 because it is stronger than a 2/0 and I catch big fish. But you need to set the hook a little harder with the 3/0 then a 2/0. But both of these hooks fit perfectly.A:
