Another sizing question

Details:
I'm a 44/32 with size 11.5 feet. I'm thinking an XL? Or just a large? I'll be using these for canoeing and portaging, and an occasional half-mile hike will be necessary so I don't want them too big. The chart is totally confusing to me.

How Do You Size Them?

Details:
I saw the chart and it seems that the inseams are very long. I wear 44WX30 legs in dress pants. What is the corresponding size for these?

I've never worn waders, if they're too long does the extra length just sort of pile up on the top of your boots?

Thanks

A:
Your better off with with being too long than too short. This is especially true where I get in and out of boats, canoes and kayaks.

Yes there is a little slop but then your fishing, not there for a modeling session. Its not enough to be a hinderance in any way.

I wear a 32 inch leg pant, I have a pair that just say 8 (boot size) I think you would fit in the same waders all but the shoe size. The waders stretch a little, There is a belt that can be tightened up and 2 suspenders that can be adjusted to help with any slack..

It seems we're the same size....usually I have to get an XL but took a chance this time and they fit perfectly. There is just a little bit of extra material and yes it just sort of piles up on the top of your boots....well really, also between knees and crotch. These worked well for me on low water, better than hip waders.

A:
If the leak is from a small hole or tear it can usually be repaired with a patch kit. From my experience with other waders, if the leak is along any seams you'd be better off replacing them. You can sometimes find a small leak by turning them inside out and hosing water into them. Look for any wet spots.

A:
Based upon my purchase - I have a 36-38" waist, 30" inseam, and wear a size 12 shoe. The large fit me just fine - the shoe size isn't too critical as the sock part of these waders fit my size 12 snuggly. Any excess in the sock portion will simply go up your ankle a bit - or so I would think. Hope this helps

I got the large and wear a 9 shoe. stocking foot is a little big, but comfortable. So I think 10-12 large is probably right

A:
Unless the person is extremely “out of proportion,” the foot part will fit when they get the correct body sizing. The bootie stretches, so it will fit most people. You get the body dimensions closest to your measurements and the bootie will stretch to accommodate your “average” foot.
