It depends on the state laws, most states require that you be at least 18 years of age.

There are 7,000 grains of powder in a pound so just divide the powder charge you are using into 7000 and you'll have your answer. I use a 110 grain charge in my Omega and that equates to 63 shots. You would get 70 shots from a 100 grain load.A:
I'm using 96grains of Pyrodex R/S in my inline with a Hornady round ball. I should get roughly 72 loads out of a pound of powder. I like how it shoots,cause it is a new .50 cal. rifle and isn't bad to clean with Dawn dishwash and hot water.A:
I use a charge of 70 grains and so should be able to get 96 to 97 loads from a pound. There are 7000 grains to a pound, so figure 100 70 grain loads (minus spillage, etcetera). So I figure 96 to 97 when all is said and dne.1 of 1
