the cut

Details: 
when it says that there is an 1/8" cut, does that mean that the strip is 1/8" long?

A: 
Why cross cut any way.
I have a couple of hundred patterns and I have never needed cross cut.
I use the standard.

If the pattern looks funny it means switch to a better material.

If these are packaged anything like the small packs I got, keep shopping.
